This hentai guide requires you to have Microsoft’s App Locale software installed, along with a Japanese game that requires App Locale to run properly. If you don’t have App Locale installed, the instructions in this guide will not work.
So you understand, Microsoft’s AppLocale software allows foreign programs to run properly on an English windows operating system *without* the need to install any foreign language packs, or manually tweaking regional options in the windows control panel. So, to get started:
1. Run the App Locale software. In windows 7 you can do this by going to Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft AppLocale -> AppLocale. Then hit next.
2. Make sure “Launch an application” option is checked, and click on the “Browse” button that is to the right of the “The application for which you apply AppLocale:” text box.
3. Select the executable belonging to your Japanese hentai game. This is almost always the .exe file you would double click on to launch / start playing the game.
4. Now you will see the path to the executable you selected in the “The application for which you apply AppLocale:” text box. Click next.
5. At this point, one of two things happen. Either the AppLocale software automatically recognizes the language that is supposed to be applied to the software, or it does not. If it is not automatically detected, you must click the dropdown for “Language of the application:” and (since this guide is for Japanese software), choose from one of the 3 Japanese language options at the very bottom of the dropdown list. In the image above, the 3rd Japanese language option is selected.
6. If the Japanese language is automatically detected, click next. If it is not automatically detected, manually select the Japanese language option (step 5), and then click next.
7. You can either check the checkbox for “Create a shortcut to always run this application with AppLocale”, or you can leave it blank. Personally I recommend checking the box, as it will create a profile automatically for that specific game, without you having to go through all these steps again. Saved AppLocale profiles can be found by going to: Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft AppLocale ->
8. Click Finish and you are done! The Japanese hentai game should now launch automatically, with the required foreign language options intact. In other words, the game should simply just work properly at this point.
